Udupi: Youth Congress Protests against Govt Failure in Tackling People’s Concerns.

Udupi, May 17: The youth Congress committee of Udupi and Kaup legislative assembly staged a protest in front of the Taluk office, condemning the various failures of the BJP led-government, here on Thursday May 17.

Indian Youth Congress committee of the district will continue to protest against the government till the government comes out with concrete solution plans. Udupi legislative assembly youth Congress president, Yatish Karkera, Kaup legislative assembly youth Congress president Abdul Aziz Hejmady, district Congress women's wing president Veronica Cornelio, Udupi Chikkamaglore Loka Sabha youth congress vice-president Amrith Shenoy were present during the protect.







Addressing the protesters, the district women’s Congress president Veronica Cornelio said that the ruling government is not willing to support the public in any matter such as drinking water, widow pension, and many other benefits. The senior citizens are not getting their pensions on time.  The protest from people will send a wake up call for the government to realize their responsibility towards the common people”,  said Cornelio.

The CM had promised to take the necessary action to sort out the problems of farmers which is not fulfilled, said Harish Kini. The district Congress committee chief secretary Kishan Hegde said that the state administration is only concerned with retaining the rule but their struggle is focused not with the concern of the common man. As per him the government is playing double game.

Naveen N Shetty, Kishan Hegde, Laxmi Nayaran Prabu, Naveenchandra Shetty,  Harish Kini and others were present during the protest.
