Udupi, May 19: G Shankar Family Trust and Zilla Mogaveera Yuva Sangh jointly distributed free note books to 5,100 talented students in the morning at Shyamili Auditorium, here on Saturday May 19.
Shalini Shankar, G ShankarFamily Trust, established by a popular social worker and first grade contractor G Shankar has been serving the community by distributing the note books ever since eight years. Last year, he distributed books to 5,000 students. This is his ninth year of service.
The distribution ceremony was inaugurated by M T Reju (IAS) district collector. M B Boralingaiah (IPS) and G Shankar presided over the function. Mogaveera Yuva Sangh president Jaya C Kotian was also present for the function.
