London, Jul 1 (IANS): Singer Adele has revealed that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

Adele, who has been dating 36-year-old Konecki for over six months, shared the news on her website.

"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," thesun.co.uk quoted her as saying.

"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele," she added.
