Olympic Wrestling: North Korea's Yang Grapples to Bronze


London, Aug 11 (IANS/RIA Novosti): North Korea's Yang Kyong-il took the Olympic bronze in the men's 55 kg freestyle wrestling category Friday.

Yang, a 2009 world champion, finished off his opponent Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan inside two rounds.

Yang attacked incessantly from the outset, taking the first round 2-0 and sealing the bronze automatically in round two by building up a six-point lead.

Russia's Dzhamal Otarsultanov and Georgia's Vladimer Khinchegashvili will face off for gold.
