I just happened to see the video and was very much touched. India is India because of such spirit and people.as such music has no language. Commendable effort!!No language barriers can be there in music!!it is divine. All songs are beautifully sung. even the pronunciation near perfect.

These type of programmes should happen more often as these golden oldies provide enjoyable, nostalgic past time. In Mumbai, many amateur groups hold such theme, composer/artiste based programmes running into 3 hours non-stop entertainment. All the artistes sit on the dias and sing songs like in a medley. The compere provides interesting nuggets of information behind every such songs.

In my younger days in Mangalore there were two famous musical nites. Ashok Charan nites and Rema Roses nites. We use to enjoy the music of these groups. Those days there was no TV. Such musiacal nites were the only entertainment. Somehow we manage to get the tickets. I am happy to see the Yadon ki baarath programme in Daijiworld News.
