Bangalore : St Anne’s Konkan Kutaam (SAKK)

 The members of St. Anne’s Konkan Kutaam (SAKK) celebrated the monthi fest by venerating the nativity of blessed Mary with flowers and singing beautiful hymns Morriyekk hogollsiyaa, hogollsiyaa morriyekk and sakkadh sangatham melliam in unison at the grotto of St. Anne’s Church, Marathahalli, Bangalore.






















After blessing the Nove and venerating the nativity of blessed Mary, everyone joined the procession into the church. Father Sunil Prabhu and  deacon Ronald  Cutinho celebrated the mass. Always at its best, the SAKK choir sang some beautiful and melodious hymns, giving glory to Mother Mary.

The feast of nativity of blessed Mary is a day that brings lot of happiness and togetherness among families. It was a special day for St.Anne’s Konkan Kutaam to come together as one big family in the presence of Mother Mary and bask in the happiness. To foster and keep the tradition of konkans alive, nove, vorn, and kobu (sugarcane) were distributed to everyone.
