Sources said that on the day of the incident, she was getting ready to go to dentist with her mother. But before they could leave, Vandana vanished from her house without the knowledge of her mother. She went to the third floor of Krishna building in M G Road and jumped.

Instead of hitting the ground, she landed on three Malaysians who were passing by the building just at that moment. Of them, the boy who was gravely injured has been identified as Muhammad Mushain Bin Monh Mashur, from Penang, Malaysia, and student of first year MBBS, KMC Bejai. He came to the city just a couple of months back to pursue his studies.

Mashur along with his friends Muhammad Shafik bin Shaffa'ee of Sarawak, Malaysia and student of first year BDS, KMC; his classmate Miur Zainul Arif, and Mohd Nadzrin Shah, first year MBBS, KMC, were on their way back to their hostel in Bejai from then gym when the incident took place.

The four were walking on the road when all of a sudden the girl fell on them. Mashur was injured on the neck and rushed to the hospital, where he was in the ICU until Wednesday September 19 morning. He is out of danger, but unable to talk yet.

Speaking to daijiworld, his friend Shaffa'ee who was with Mashur said that all four of them were from Malaysia and students of KMC. He further said that the incident was a shock to them, as they had not noticed the girl jumping from the building.

I am a Malaysian and I have this to say. My heart goes out to Mashur, who, through an act of fate, happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Recently, two Malaysian Medical students died in Russia ( auto accident ) and another Malaysian Medical in Jordan was also fatally injured in an auto accident.A lot of time and money is spent by parents educating their children overseas. No parent in this world would want something to happen to their children overseas.Coming back to the 'suicide' incident, I am sure, Malaysians would be sympathetic and not blame anyone for this unfortunate incident. Our hearts go out to her parents ( suicide lady ) who must be traumatized by the whole episode.Let us pray that both survive and get on with their lives.

Human beings do mistakes sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly. In some incidents we feel sorry and sometime we are not!.Now it is upto the girl to decide she took a right decision to end her life?.We feel sorry for the Malaysian students who got severly injured unknowingly. Our prayers to all of them to thier speedy recovery and to a normal life again.

Let us not be harsh to this girl as she is mentally ill and under medication. It is the duty of those who take care of her to see that she is under supervision all the time. This symptom can recurr and the guardians of this girl have to be extremely careful.

We should not shed our tears for this stupid girl but we have to pray with God for well being of Mashur since he is critically ill though he is out of danger but he can’t talk yet. These Students might have paid heavy price to pursue their carrier as Doctors, moreover they choose our region to become Professional Doctors. Hey God pls make Mashur perfectly alright and let him go to his Native place with “Doctor Degree” in his hand

Having gone through "Part 1" of this news report, it is shocking to note utterly insensitive comments posted (without knowing the facts) by a few insane people. We Daiji patrons should not encourage such behaviour. By clicking "Disagree", we are encouraging them. Aren't we? When you come across insensitive comments, do read them, (laugh at them if you want), but don't click "Disagree". This could act as a deterrent to their silly commenting. Be sensitive. It is very easy to comment on a news, but very tough being "the news"!! Isn't it?
