KESHAVA is a very hard working & good in person. Recently he purchased a new auto. Even to meet other end expenses he was working on sundays too. He was regular on his trip to school children & he was very prompt in his services. He left behind his wife & two children. Very sad. May his soul rest in peace.

The authorities ,please the speed to 10kms/h,strictly ,from about 200ft from the bridge either side ,and monitor it ,probably it would be reducing these regular mishaps, and it may prove a boon to the bridge to extend the bridge life.

Mr. G.R.PRABHU... why target the girls. infacr girls are the ones who drive and follow the rules. It it the auto drivers and bus drivers ( so basically men) who drive rashly. tell me how many traffic rules do u follow when u drive the car. i am sure u don't even follow half the rules. let me point some of the basic rules.
    1. seat belt
    2. indicators while turning.
    3. indicators while changing lanes.
    4. parking indicators while one has parked on the road.
    5. following the correct speed limit.
    6. no parking on main roads.
    7. lane discipline.
i am sure u r from the old people's mindset who thinks that girls shud not drive and other such stuff. disappointed with u prabhumaam... tumhi ashi sangta manu lekkani

    Two things:
    1. Between mangalore and puttur I have seen KSRTC and private buses in a dog fight with scant regard for other road users.
    2. Are auto rickshaws allowed to ply on highways as service auto picking and ping passengers all over the highway? I am asking this in general and not specific to this accident.

    Mr. G.R. Prabhu, Bejai, Mangalore,
I agree with you 100%. Many of the drivers do not follow the rad rules and involve in road accidents endangering their lives and lives of other road users. On 21st of this month, I was on my Two Wheeler Motor Bike and my daughter was also with me. It happended near the Kulshekar Post Office and Ganesha procession was going at about 7p.m.and I had stopped my vehicle as other vehicle also had stopped. A young lady about 18 years
old , came with full speed from behind and banged my vehicle from behind and hit my daughters leg. Fortunately there was no fracture to my daughter's leg. She started blaming me saying I had applied brakes and that was the reason for banging my vehicle. I told her to keep the distance while approaching and not to teach me driving a two wheeler which i had experience of more than three lakhs of kilometers of Two Wheeler riding besides Four Wheel vehicle driving without any accidents in my life. That time Police and public were also witness to this.
During the day time, I travel a lot on my two wheeler due to my Office Work, and find many young Drivers including Ladies violating the road rules with impunity, thus endangering their lives and that of lives of others. God Save Them.

I fail to understand the indifference of the administration. Here, it might be the auto guy at fault, but the bussies are wreckless drivers and the cops & admin like to see the other way.

RTO must check the driving test randomly, Specially Ladies drivers, so RTO will come to know how many DRIVERS know the rules & regulations of driving.

Accidents are become daily news in Mangalore. Sad news every day.May the soul rest in peace.

Before issuing the licence it must be mandatory that driving rules booklet must be given and at least oral test must be taken to improve sence of driving in Mangalore
