Kasargod: Two Brothers from Kumble Drown in Bellary

Kasargod, Oct 1: In a tragic incident, two brothers drowned in a river near Bellary Thoranakallu on Saturday September 29.

The deceased have been identified as Anup Raj (26) and Anish Raj (23), residents of Kumble.

Anish Raj recently obtained a job in an industry at Bellary Thoranakallu. Anish along with his relatives and family members went to Bellary on Thursday evening.

On Saturday afternoon Anish, Anup and another brother Akhil along with relatives Sujith, Ganesh and Guru went for a dip to a river in Thoranakallu.

It is said that Anup and Anish were pulled in by the strong currents. Efforts to rescue them by the other members went in vain.

It is learnt that Anup Raj was working abroad and he came down to his hometown just three months ago.

    You may call it fate or destiny but these two brothers from Kumble ( Kasargod )went all the way to Bellary to die ? Very tragic indeed. May their souls Rest in peace.My heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
