If we think of cleaning our own place where we live, where we work and where we indulge in social activities, then definitely we have contributed something towards cleanliness.I read once "If you have to clean a street clean it in such a way that people should say there lived a man who used to clean this street every day."

A very good initiative by T.R.F.when all our Civic agencies failed miserably
in their duties, this is the only solution left out.I wish some NGOs in Bangalore to start cleaning our surroundings so that many Bangaloreans can join them to throw out corrupt officials of BBMP & their contractors, who r pocketing tax payers money without doing any work.

We wish them all the success in helping to make our society / surrounding healthy.

Hope more volunteers and groups will extend their hands for this noble cause.

Above all, hope the public will maintain the cleanliness thereafter.

Jb. Qazi Twaka Ahmed Musliyar is a very pious man. He wanted the Muslims to reform, keep their homes and surroundings clean. He wanted the backward poor Muslims to educate their children and make their future bright.
There is a relevant Hadith in which the prophet of Islam has said:
"A good Muslim is one who refrains from indulging in a practice that is not going to yield any positive result"
This Hadith applies very aptly to the present situation of Muslims. The advantage of it is that they will save themselves from becoming victim of negative sentiments and will able to devote their energies to constructive work.

Litter is ugly and it can harm people and cause diseases. Lanes & bye-lanes cleansing is a manual task and labour is a significant cost. Picking up and clearing litter from every nook and corner by the Department of Public Works is not possible hence public should participate.
All should follow the 10 Habits That Keep our Homes Clean:
    Put things where they belong.
Don’t wait for days if needs to be cleaned now.
Pick up as you go, a lot of cleaning can be done in just 60 seconds.
Clean as you see the smudges and spots and you’ll be amazed at how clean your paint stays and how good your wood work looks.
Don’t use old, dirty undershirt but use microfiber towels for cleaning, polishing etc.
Establish a point of entry for the family, where everyone leaves dirty shoes, books, purses, etc.
Assign duties to everyone in the house.
Confine the shoes at the entry doors that will help keep unwanted chemicals, bacteria (from pet waste, public restrooms, etc.), dust and dirt out of the house. It is practiced all over the world.
Keep a schedule of all the activities you need to do such as bed-sheet changing, toilet/window-pane cleaning, cobweb clearing etc. and stick to the schedules without fail.
Spend 15 minutes every day getting rid of junk and clutter that otherwise make the house a godown.

Very good initiative by T.R.F., for launching a month-long district-wide cleanliness drive on GANDHI JAYANTI day. Concerned Political parties should take up Public Welfare Causes, learn from T.R.F.! Most places of the World are clean, See CHINA ! But sadly Political leaders in India are out of FOCUS! Diverting our focus from real issues to suppress their failures. Not taking up real issues like Health, Well being and cleanliness drive so seriously !
