Corruption is also grave Crime. So, from this angle majority of the Police are Criminals themselves like Firoze. The Police & Criminals & Lawyers always work on the same subject but from different Perspective. But during the course of their work their positions some times gets exchanged unknowingly ! “Fence eating Crop” is quite common in India.
In the cases like Theft-Rape-Murder, if the police knowingly protect the Criminal then police are to be logically considered as Partners in the Crime. As regards Belikeri-Karwar huge Iron Ore theft Case, the Karnataka CID-CCB openly tried to protect the Politicians & the Fraudulent companies. But for the efforts of Social Worker - S R Hiremath & CBI, this case would have been hushed up by Ktk CID-CCB. Therefore, Karnataka CID-CCB is also to be considered as Partners in this big Belikeri Crime.
So, as compared to this crime of Ktk CID-CCB the crime of Kasargod Firoz is trivial.

I remember my young age a play called 'Chor Police,'a story coming true.A unfortunate incident from the police dept and the police.Criminality is like cancer, it should be treated in the very early stage otherwise it may spread all over. This police officer is a black spot in police history and to the dept itself! should be given a very harsh punishment so that he remembers it daily.Police and criminal nexus a very grave danger to our existing society ,we need a ploice who is a protection to this socity not that of a kind evil in character !.

This incident teaches a good lesson to the Governing Body. Government never think of Police department and their responsibilities (24hrs Duty)which involves so much risk, tensions, sleepless nights and no family life. But how much they earn ? What facilities they get ? What are the condition of their accomodations (Quarters)? What is their standard of living ? Any Government has Answer ? Then what better you can expect from the Police Department ? First provide them all the good facilities to live their standrad life. Pay them sufficient salaries, then you find the changes in the department as far as Bribe, robbery and any kind of criminal activities. Just imagine an Officer involved in the robbery then how about a ordinary Constable??? Its a one million Dollar question for Governing Body !!!!

Criminals get themselves arrested on small crimes & get arrested to plan bigger crimes with connivance of Jailors & police while in custody.
They create these alibi to evade stringent punishment by this route.
A British Raj retired police who is no more had revealed this to me.
Crime Stories in our TV channels have come out with these goings on as well.
One police officer had revealed when interacting with our club- we don't pursue theft cases as seriously as murder, for if they catch suspects & when we interrogate them by using some methods should they die in custody we stand to lose our job. For that reason many crimes remain unsolved.
Use modern methods of forensic science & interrogation to stop apathy & incompetence of security agencies & weed out corrupt amongst them.

There are rotten apple in every department including police. It was very scary to find that this shameless protector of the society was in fact, looting them left, right and centre. He should get maximum punishment for the betrayal of his uniform.

Why do we have a police force?
We have a police force to provide citizens with a sense of safety and security. The police are there to maintain peace and order in society as well as prevent and detect crime. They are there as the law enforcers - to make sure that everyone, including the police force itself, follows the law at every step.

What are the police supposed to do?
The police force has several duties: it must prevent and control crime, and detect and investigate it properly whenever it happens. It must also prepare an honest, evidence-base case for the prosecutor to present at court. The police force has a responsibility for maintaining overall law and order and for this purpose also gathers information about what is happening in and around the community it serves.

What is meant by police powers?
The police have all sorts of different powers, all of which are given by law and they must use them only according to the procedure laid down in the law. So they can make arrests, carry out search and seizures, investigate offences, question witnesses, interrogate suspects, disperse unruly crowds and maintain order in society, but they have to do it strictly in the way the law lays down and not any other way. They cannot act just as they wish or want to. Any abuse of power or negligence of duty will amount to a breach of discipline, civil wrong or a crime and the police officer is liable to be punished.

Now the time for public to find some other way to protect themselves. If police is criminal how do we trust police and call them to our rescue. If a home alone woman calls police in trouble police may come gladly to her house in a evil intention. Change the slogen "mera bhart mahan khatra" living in India is living in a den of venemous snakes no one knows when you will have a bite.
