The untimely and accidental sad demise of our Mini chechi(Jayalakshmi) is an irreparable loss to all the near ones. She was such a warm, charming, loving and caring personality that everybody used to make an instant attachment with the family. she was such a wonderful sister to me teacher to my sister, loving and caring daughter to my parents that we all shall miss her very much. The news was so shocking to us that we hardly can imagine the gravity of the situation of her immediate family. May the Almighty give them enough strength to bear the huge loss. We all pray for peace to the departed soul.

Seat belts ,seat belts and seat belts . Seat belts can save . Most deaths in accidents occur when people are ejected from their vehicles or are thrown around in the vehicle when it rolls .
But people wear seat belts or helmets only to escape police fines .

I have heard most idiots say " seat belts not compulsory in mangalore . Not needed "

One month back I had mentioned that the tankers on the Kuntikan- KPT highway are a menace and they stop at any place without traffic sense.Apart from this they speed up on the highway and are a cause for death. The depth of the lady and injury to others is a stark reminder on the way the highway is managed. May the departed soul rest in peace

These accidents wil continue to happen as long as our laws are not stringent! The tanker driver knows that he would anyway get bail in a few days!

    Once again I repeat:
    So many deaths,
    Death after deaths,
    Accidents kill more than diseases.
As one steps out of the house,
    Either by walk,
    Cycle,
    Two wheeler or
    Four wheelers,
Not sure whether he will reach back home dead or alive.
Whether it is the back-streets, roadways, highways or expressways, people are just getting killed due to the negligence of the concern authorities, from the Central Govt to the Grama Panchayat there have been so many road accidents and deaths, still the authorities have taken it lightly.
The whole road safety systems are to be blamed for the very method of road safety measures. They have created road havoc instead of road safety, killer humps instead of speed breaks, killer dividers instead of guided carriageways, killer tyre/mega-circles instead of scientific circles, killer road edges instead of hard surfaced mud carriageways, killer blind-curves instead of smooth curves/pre-cautioned sign boards…?
They are not bothered to appoint expert consultants, to learn from the roads of the developed countries and at least to learn from their own mistakes time and again.
It is high time the judiciary take action against the concern authorities that failed miserably to stop the road accidents and the lives of innocent people.
