At the outset, Kevin Rodrigues welcomed the gathering following which Fr Stany B Lobo released the special issue of Daijiworld Weekly and distributed to all those who were present for the function.

Hemacharya in his brief introduction narrated the reason behind bringing out the Udupi Diocese Special Issue of Daijiworld Weekly. Fr Stany B Lobo  greatly appreciated the cover page of the special issue which depics, besides a dignified picture of Rev. Dr Gerald Isac Lobo, the representation of  Christian symbols with the altar of the Milagres Cathedral, and facades of two churches along with the entrance gate of Shri Krishna Temple and a mosque.  Fr Stany Lobo thanked Hemacharya and the Daijiworld team for bringing out the especial issue.

Melvyn Rodrigues while proposing the vote of thanks narrated that he knew Fr Stany Lobo when he was the Assistant Parish Priest at Kulshekar and he was the altar server. Though the time has taken them in diverse paths, Melvyn expressed happiness that both of them once again  could come closer on the occasion of the release of the special issue of the Daijiworld Weekly.  He said that lot of efforts have gone into producing this special issue which would be like a souvenir of the constitution of the new Diocese of Udupi and installation of its first Bishop Dr Gerald Isac Lobo.
