is it fair to look at the color of the bus and say its in good condition.?
Most of the college buses are brought second hand after long run and painted yellow.

Mr. Vinay Hegde please see that you provide appropriate education, transport, hostel facilities, and proper treatment. All these students have joined with appropriate fees according to your terms and conditions. Your college has been established since 1983, it is almost 30 years, we do not want these Institutes which you have established with great difficulties to run the same way when I was the first batch student of your Institute. Please do the needful and provide appropriate facilities to the entire Nitte Education Trust. Let these Institutes which are established flourish and be a symbol of dignity and respect in our community and society. When the students graduate from these Institute they provide the best which they have learnt from these Institutes.

I have personally witnessed NITTE buses going at neck break speed, reckless driving and no road sense at all.
Some guidance to drivers or pilots(call them by any name)and keeping a watch will go a long way in preventing avoidable accidents.
Students who travel in buses must report of unsatisfactory driving.
Alternatively a poster behind the bus giving contact nos of whom to be contacted must be put.
If all the colleges having their own transport buses follow, obey, and run the vehicles in a disciplined and organized manner many preventable accidents can be avoided.College Managements to be held responsible if any untoward incident happens.
It is a small job but big ramifications.

We do not know the correct reason at this stage . However the college authorities should see that the vehicle is in good condition or not. Driver's need to be trained properly on a periodic basis and safety should be made priority. the students need to be alert at all times. A trip caption to be appointed who shall have the responsibility to see that the driver does not exceed the speed limit. This incident happened near Neechal, this area having deep curves and roads are pathetic, also besides the road the area are not clean , where belman panchayat or road authorities suppose to clean the grass, also driving is very rash by the school bus drivers. These school buses must have speed limit.and this has to be strictly followed by the top management .

We take corrective & preventive actions/measures only after some tragic accidents. Why not at an early stage, where we could avoid all these safety related accidents. May this incident will be the eye-opener for the college management as well as the RTO, to prevent such incidents in future.
Wishing all the injured students and staff a very speedy recovery.

Being limited roads, multiplying vehicles, increase in population with no pathway to move, pathetic, miserable, sorrowful, tragic deaths every day, the situation is out of control.

By adding adequate safe and good conditioned public transport vehicles and reducing the mushrooming of SUVs and two wheelers, the transport crisis can be solved to a certain extent.

A concept change in the move of vehicles, the capacity of each SUV can be multiplied, even with saving of 50% of regular fuel consumption. Perhaps it will be a revolutionary change in the ages old automobiles evolution.

An opportunity is to save a huge quantity and amount of fuel consumption and the possibility of a clean environment with considerable reduction in air and sound pollutions by vehicles.

    To Rama karkera,
This is entirely fault of our system. There is no value for human lives here unlike western or gulf countries human life is more precious. Here one can't blame alone to College Mgmt or RTO. Moreover corruption hit to everywhere. We Indians are adjusted our ill-grade system. We awake only when the same fate hits to our door.

College bus belong to famous Nitte college is met with acciednt because of bad condition of the bus, If this is true then college must be penalised for this accident. The college takes lots of money from the students then why they can not keep good condtion buses for transporing the students. All the medical charges must be occured by the college managementand, all the casualities should be compansatted for this accident.

People I was there in that bus and I saw it myself how we lost control on the bus and before toppling it hit a car and to avoid that he turn it in other side and lost control and it toppled for 3 times .It was a complete chaos in the bus .First we rescued people who were injured and then we emptied the buses. We can't speak against the management because our mouth are shut by weapon of autonomy. if students do something good or protest for any injustice they r suppressed and they are branded as anti social .So we never got chance to raise our voice .

It is very sad to see so many accidents taking place, whatever may be the reason. I have noticed some of the bus drivers, are very careless. In fact, one of the bus drivers of the same college, literally waylaid my car early one morning near Balmatta, for no reason at all, the only reason i can see, is that he wanted to drive fast and rash. Most of the time its the drivers fault. Its like saying the dance floor is not correct, when you just dont know how to dance. The worst part is that they just get away with it, and life just moves on.

WHAT A SHAME.EVEN PRIVATE BUSES ARE IN SUCH BAD CONDITIONS.SO CALLED PREMIER INSTITUTES ARE LEAST WORRIED ABOUT THE SAFETY CONDITIONS OF THE BUSES EXPOSING THE LIVES OF INNOCENT STUDENTS.NOW A DAYS IT IS A READY EXCUSE FOR THE
BUS DRIVER TO TAKE SHELTER UNDER BRAKE FAILURE .I PRAY FOR THE SPEEDY RECOVERY OF THE INJURED STUDENTS.MAY GOD BLESS THEM.

Nitte College Bus Turtles near Belman-shocking news. Most of the buses belonging to the College are in poor condition. This bus was serviced last week but nothing much had changed in its condition as reported by one of the students. This is the ethics of cost control but at the cost of students. This is shame on management of one of the reputed educational institutions in the region. When you are taking hefty money from the students it is the duty of the management to take care of safety of students adequately. At least now onwards learn by your own mistakes and take care of safety aspects of the students.Don't be after money only.Money is important but same time students life is more important than your money.
