Dear D'souza,From your comment I can understand your agony for the heinous crime committed by members of your community, where in RCs have lowest crime rate like many other such sections. This is an exception and reasons may be many.Yet I feel that they are repairable if supported by community with proper guidence.I too feel bad for the incidence.

There should be security check points at different strategic junctions with sharp pixel CCTV. All the vehicle occupants should show their face to the camera on either sides of the check point to identify them in future and for records. The authority should use the technology wherever possible to its maximum use to trap the anti-social elements.

There are so many gangs of Gold Chain Snatchers in and around undivided districts of DK/Udupi.Their modus operandi is using Motorbikes wearing Helmets both pillion rider and driver. This scenario is due to gold price @it's peak. The duos may disclose other gang's operation if police use their original language and deterrent actions.Very good and crucial breakthrough by DK police which deserves appreciations of Citizens.Congrats DK Police and keep up pressure on law breakers and criminals.

EACH AND EVERY ROBBER, CHAIN SNATCHER, PICK POCKET, MURDER ACCUSED, FRAUDSTER, ROWDY, HOOLIGAN, GOONDA HAS CRIME SHEET AND CASES PENDING AGAINST THEM. AS SOON AS THEY ARE CAUGHT THEY ARE OUT ON BAIL BACK TO THEIR SAME OLD JOB. QUESTION: IS IT TIME FOR US TO LOOK AND CHANGE OUR LEGAL SYSTEM? IS IT TIME TO TAKE INTO NOTICE OF THE LAWYERS/ADVOCATES WHO SUPPORT THESE CRIMINALS? ISN'T IT TIME TO BRAND THE PEOPLE WHO BUY THE STOLEN GOODS FOR PROFIT AS PARTNER IN CRIME?

    Good work Mangalore Police.
    Good deterrent action !
So sad, able people, may be having some education also, bringing bad name to them/family and community.
They are using their skill to snatch what belongs to others and make their living !
If they can't find job Why can't they do COOLI JOB which is productive and creative?
    There is dignity to LABOUR.
    They should Repent and change!
God shows mercy to those who repent, change and repay to whom they cheated.
Shows NO mercy to hypocrites, who cheat but does not repent and pretend to be good!God curses them!
