The deceased has been identified as Koderi resident Sheena Kharvi (55).

On Tuesday night, Sheena left for fishing on Kanakadurga boat from Gangolli dock. He lost balance all of a sudden and fell into the water. He was immediately rescued and rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.

The body was shifted to Gangolli primary health centre and later handed over to the family.
