Bantwal, Nov 25:
In an incident that raised many eyebrows, the daughter in-law of a house located at Porlappada Hosagadde of Padnur village in Vittal here hatched a plot and stole gold jewellery worth several lacs of rupees.

The incident occurred at a house belonging to Monappa Poojary.

Poojary and his wife were on a visit to a relative's house when the incident took place. On Saturday November 24 night, only Poojary's son Kiran, daughter in-law Vani and grand children were home. On Sunday morning the theft at Monappa Poojary’s house was reported to police.

Vittal police station SI Madhava Kudlu and staff rushed to the spot and began investigating. It was found that the theft had taken place when Kiran had been to a neighbour's house to get help for Vani who was reportedly 'ill'. The cupboard was open and clothes and other items were strewn around.

The dog squad was then pressed into action. Sensing trouble, Vani admitted having stolen the jewellery and apologized for her act. The stolen loot was recovered from a hillock near the house.

Fear of canine squad brings out truth

Though Vani was daring enough to commit the theft, her courage failed her when she set her eyes upon the trained police dogs and the fingerprint experts who had arrived at the spot. Before she could be found out, Vani herself apologized and owned up that she had concealed the jewellery at a hillock. Based on this information, the police recovered the 16 sovereign of gold jewellery she had stolen.

It is said that Vani was suffering from mental illness since three months and had developed the habit of shouting during the night and had also reportedly threatened to kill her own children. On Saturday too, she showed signs of mental illness and for that reason her husband Kiran went to call someone for assistance.

Should be very alert now days, should not discuss any financial matter with anybody. Situation became like that now days, those days gone that you can trust 100 % Known and UN known Person.
Keep minimum amount in house rest all keep in bank even jewellery as well. Even though qualified and knowing the present situation also, some time we will make mistakes ourselves.
Keep dog in house well trained dog will take care of the things. Keep good Relation with dog more then your believed bad friends and bad relatives as well.
My neighbors had the same experience but dog saved them from robbery.

Dog just need time to time food. Never look at your money, jewellery, status but you can trust 100 %.

Vani is intelligent because she knew what trained police dogs and the fingerprint experts can find out. That means she has technical knowledge and very well understanding about what the dogs are capable off.

So, she is not mentally ill too. May be this lady sensing unsecure due to her inner feeling which forced her steal jewellery from their own house. Perhaps we may have to call this as sick mentality forcing people to feel unsecure and behave abnormal & strangely. No medicine can cure this kind of sickness but only counseling by close relatives can help to deceive this behavior but not totally forever

It's a big challenge to be mentally fit in up & downs of life. It's OK for one to show upset mood once in a while but the problem comes when he/she enjoys being upset over & over again, creating an unhealthy environment, speacially for kids.
