Bantwal: Thieves Make Vain Attempts to Loot Temples

Bantwal, Dec 24: Vain attempts to loot two temples in Vittal police station limits were reported on Saturday December 22.

In Vittal Anantheshwari temple, thieves broke the lock of the offering box, but as soon as the sound was heard, the temple trustee rushed in. The thief fled from the spot leaving behind his footwear.

Speaking to media, the temple trustee said that as the offering box was opened on December 20, the thief might have grabbed a small amount.

In the second incident too, reported at Basavana Gudi temple, the thieves were unsuccessful.

As per the information received, as many 10 theft cases were reported in Vittal police station limits which has created panic among residents.

    Yediyurappa, Eshwarappa, Reddy bros..are role models for these thieves. These thieves don't even spare temples and these politicians try to give bribe to God.
