Mangalore: DYFI, SFI Condemn Lathi Charge on CPI(M) Members at Udupi

Mangalore, Dec 28: DYFI and SFI activists on Thursday December 27 condemned the lathi charge on CPI (M) activists who were protesting against Made Snana and caste discrimination over serving food near Sri Krishna Temple in Udupi.

The DYFI and SFI activists protested in front of the deputy commissioner’s office.

Addressing the protest, B K Imthiyaz, president of DYFI said that the BJP with the help of police had tried to stop the protest against Made Snana.

"They have resorted to lathi charge on people who were protesting peacefully," he alleged.

He urged the officials concerned to release the arrested persons soon without lodging any case on them.

Dayanand Shetty, Yogesh Jeppu, Santhosh Bajal, Sadiq, Prashanth M, Sukhanya, Nithin Kuthar, Razaq among others were present.
