Udupi, Dec 29: ‘Konnee Sama Nanth’ the new Konkani play by Alwyn Andrade Barkur made its debut for a packed audience at Sastan recently.

Organised by the St Thomas Syrian Youth Association Sastan as part of their Anniversary Celebrations, the play was well received by the audience, as ‘The Expressions’, a group of like minded people to promote talents, have set a very high standard for the entertainment  programs by their earlier ventures, were presenting the play.

True to the expectations, the audience was treated with mind boggling performances of rib tickling comedy with heart warming story line enacted by Alwyn Andrade, Sujatha Andrade, Herbert Menezes, Raviprakash Gonsalves, Frankline Fernandes, Stephen Rodrigues, Stenita Lewis, Delvin Lewis, Wilma and Cyprian Pinto.

‘The Expressions’ veteran Prakash Shetty added new dimensions to the drama with his acting skills and prompt timing.

The same drama is set to play at Mumbai on January 6 at Ghatkhopar West, organized by St Peter's Association (Barkur) Mumbai as a part of the inauguration of their Silver Jubilee Celebrations.
