Bantwal, Dec 31: A bus and a lorry collided head-on after which the lorry hit the mud wall near Chandalli in Vittal in the wee hours on Monday December 31.
However the lorry driver Sameer managed to escape without injury.
The Rajahamsa bus plying from Bangalore towards Vittal while the lorry was moving from Kerala to Chaarmaadi via Vittal when the accident took place. The lorry driver who took a sudden right turn after the collision hit a massive mud wall. The front part of the bus was completely damaged due to the impact of the collision.
No case has been registered in Vittal station in this regard.
