Luck Important in this Industry: Shresth Kumar

Mumbai, Jan 7 (IANS): TV actor Shresht Kumar of "Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage", says luck is most important in showbiz, and that the film line is risky for everyone. Nevertheless, he wants to give films a shot.

"You never know how it will be here (in the industry). Things have to click at the right moment with the right people. It is risky for everyone associated with it, including technicians," Shresth told IANS.

He has also been a part of shows like "Bairi Piya" and "Na Aana Is Des Laado", and each is special to him.

"All my shows have been so close to my heart that I cannot even describe it. There are so many memories associated with it. I am so lucky to have worked with amazing co-stars," he said.

Shresth is currently working in Doordarshan show "Akhand Saubhagyawati Bhava" and was last seen as a tennis coach in "Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage".

"'Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage' was a wonderful experience. I have never played the role of a coach. I have been a big fan of sports and I was so happy I got to play one in the show," he said.

Even though Shresth loves sports, he has never really got a chance to play tennis.

"I am very fond of sports, but have never played tennis before. Due to this, I had some problems also during the shoot. But we managed it," the 25-year-old said.

The actor does not want to take on anymore shows on TV for now.

"I am getting offers, but I don't want to do back-to-back shows for TV. I am trying for films at the moment. I will not leave TV even if I get into films, but I do want to try my luck there," he said.
