Puttur, Jan 8: A man has been accused of intoxicating a girl and then clicking photographs with her as posing as her 'husband'.
He has also been accused of creating fake documents of marriage with the girl and then blackmailing her.
As per the complaint filed by the girl, a resident of Kodimbala who works for a company in Mangalore, a few days back she met Somappa, her neighbour in her native place, in Mangalore. Somappa allegedly offered her a soft drink laced with sedatives.
The girl claimed after intoxicating her, Somappa clicked photographs with her posing as a married couple. He even created fake documents of their marriage and and blackmailed her, she said.
A case has been registered in the Kadaba police station.
