Mangalore, Mar 31: A man has accused his three sisters of ill-treating him, even alleging that they refused to let him see the mortal remains of their mother who passed away on Saturday March 30.

Satish Poojary in his complaint has said that his younger sisters Kusuma, Malathi and Sujatha have been ill-treating him for long and have even sold his land through forgery.

Kusuma, Malathi, Sujatha and Satish are children of Gopal and Rajeevi Poojary, residents of Nejjiguri Padavinangadi

Rajeevi died in a private hospital in the city on Saturday March 30 due to ill health, but Satish was allegedly not allow to pay his last respects.

Rajeevi Poojary had 2.80 acres of land. Satish alleged that all the land was illegally taken over by the three daughters without giving an inch to him.

"My sisters sent me away from the house and never allowed me to return. I even requested my sisters to let me take my mother along and look after her, but they did not allow it. It was I who paid my mother's hospital bill," said Satish.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Satish said that his three sisters even tried to sell 34 cents of farmland without his permission. "They have already sold some parts of the land by forging my signature," he alleged.

On Sunday March 31, when Sathish went to see the mortal remains of his mother, his sisters's children arrived at the spot and allegedly refused to let him see the body. An argument arose, and after the intervention of police, Satish was allowed to see the body. However, the sisters' children refused to let him perform the last rites, it is learnt.

Sathish Poojary has filed a case in Kankanady police station in this regard.

Some time Money/wealth comes in between family which is very very unfortunate. Astonishing to see three sisters are barring their brother to see mortal remains of his mother!!!What could be other side story of this issue? Are Mangaloreans are that cruel?Perhaps not.I think such inhuman stories are isolated and very rare in Kudalite society.Hope and wish this story will end with amicable settlement and let blood relation triumph over wealth.

This is called family politics. When Parents wants help that time Girl will tell that I am married and when the share of property she will tell we got equal right on parents property or they will try to grab the full. As per court rule, everyone including girl of the family got right in parents property if only she supports family financially after the marriage just like male child.
