Kasargod: Thief leaves behind note seeking pardon!

Daijiworld Media Network – Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Apr 1: In an interesting incident, a thief is found to have left behind a letter asking the victim to forgive him. The incident occurred in the cell phones shop being run by Sufi from Korakkodu near the traffic junction on M G Road in the town.

The thief in question had entered Sufi’s shop on the night of Saturday March 30.  He had stolen Rs 30,000 in cash, and three cell phones. It was found that roof tiles of the shop were removed for the purpose by the thief, who did not forget to leave behind a letter addressed to the shop owner after finishing his job.

The letter, written in Malayalam, goes on to say, “I am forced to commit this theft, as I am facing monetary crisis. Please excuse me for this act. I request you not to curse me.”

On the same night, the tiles of the roof of a neighbouring shop run by Yousuf from Badiyadka, were also found to have been removed, and someone seemed to have got in with the help of a rope. But nothing went missing from there.

The shop owner perhaps did not deem it right to forgive the thief. On the basis of a complaint filed by him, a case has been registered in the town police station here relating to the incident. The policemen have taken up investigation.

In Kodagu large number of Keralites have migrated and settled here permanently reducing locals to minority. Many of them have studied in English Medium in Kerala, but their Malayalam is as good as the one who has studied in Malayali medium. They love their language fiercely unlike Kannadigas.

Simply telling sorry after robbery-rape-murder etc are pure jokes. If the sorry is genuine, let him return the items taken through robbery! For his tricky smart game plan, he must be punished more. Real restitution must be practical, not a fake word of "sorry".

It is only in Karnataka that the students educated in English medium school cannot write Kannada fluently. In Kerala & Tamilnadu, the standard of Vernacular subject is intentionally kept so high by the govt, that every student automatically becomes quite fluent in vernacular and writes as good as any student of Local Medium School.

when the traders cheat customers and make money - it is also a theft (termed as cheated)
So what is the difference here?
Here at least the thief had to labour more to rob the robber!!

It's very easy to quote the Bible, Geetha and the Quaran when we are 'not' at the receiving end. It's only when 'we suffer' and take recourse to the scriptures means we have understood something at least!
As far as this episode is concerned
To consider the fella a 'Religious Thief'is the joke of the millenium next only after the 'Mayan Calendar'!!

He is God fearing thief. He knows that if he harm anybody, their curse will harm him or his family. This is true we will harm others and differently their curse will harm us or our family(Psalm 91). He may in very big financial crises that’s why he robed the shop. It is written that God allowed us eat everything in the world but not human flesh , but it is allowed if you don’t get anything to eat when you are hungry, you are allowed to eat anything
