India claims to be shining and is frequently compared to the US by politicians. Forget US - is India even equal to Malaysia or any Gulf country in terms of infrastructure? No way... Even this year, as every year before, will cause havoc on the roads in a "modern" city like Mumbai... If only the British had stayed on for some more time...

Each year many people die from lightning strikes and hundreds more are permanently injured.
When you hear thunder, lightning always remember these FIVE words “WHEN THUNDER ROARS GO INDOORS”:
    1. Go indoors a tent does not count as a safe shelter. Take shelter in a substantial building.
    2. Find and get into an enclosed, metal-topped vehicle.
    3. Get to a lower elevation. Get off elevated areas such as hills, mountain ridges, or peaks.
    4. Stay away from isolated or tall trees, bodies of water, or objects that conduct electricity (power lines, windmills, metal fences, etc.)
    5. People struck by lightning do not carry an electrical charge and need immediate medical attention. Please assist them to reach the hospital.
