Etihad Airways expands check-in options

Abu Dhabi, Jun 14 (IANS/WAM): Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is expanding its check-in options in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai.

The check-in would be available 24 hours before flying and offers each passenger a 5 kg additional baggage allowance.

The option is available at the Expo Check-in at ADNEC, Etihad Airways' Abu Dhabi City Terminal, Al Ain Airport and the Etihad Travel Mall in Dubai.

Passengers can drop their baggage and collect boarding pass from 24 to six hours before flying.

Passengers can also use Etihad Airways' online check-in service up to 24 hours before flying. They can print boarding passes straight away, saving significant time at the airport.

Etihad Airways will operate 94 flights each day out of Abu Dhabi this summer, an eight percent rise from the 87 daily flights that operated during the same season in 2012.

Etihad now offers flights to 92 destinations.
