Mumbai, Jan 19: The 'Babies and Us' Fertility Centre has introduced a new facility, first of its kind in India, in Lilavati Hospital in the city.

The formal inauguration of the Chromosome Spindle View Machine for Infertility Treatment was held in the Odyssey hall of Mayfair Rooms in Dadar (West). Dr Pushpa Bhargava lit the inaugural lamp.

Bollywood star Poonam Dhillon was the chief guest. Dr Trivedi, well-known designer N C Shaina and Dr Kapadia were also on the dais.

The Centre's researcher-director Dr Hrishikesh Pai welcomed the gathering. Medical director Dr Nandita Palshekar gave a visual presentation on the infertility treatment and facilities available.
