Mumbai, Oct 5: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is known for his candid views, has sparked discussion with a recent comment that India no longer feels as peaceful as it once did.
Sanjay Dutt recently appeared on Shekhar Suman's show Shekhar Tonight in a special episode for Gandhi Jayanti. The actor appeared in his popular 'Munna Bhai' avatar and was asked to imagine himself as the Prime Minister of India for five minutes.
During the interaction, Sanjay Dutt referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump while delivering a humorous and satirical speech. He joked about foreign tours, political issues, missiles and tariffs, while also invoking the idea of 'Gandhigiri'.

Speaking about India, Sanjay Dutt said the country's people are loving and have always been known for their hospitality and generosity. He said peace should prevail in the country but added that he does not feel the same sense of peace in India that he felt earlier.
"The people of this country are very loving. There should be peace here. I don't feel the same peace in our country anymore. We Indians have big hearts and we are excellent hosts. We have given so much, and these things should remain the same. I pray to Lord Shiva that those days return," he said.
When asked what he would say to the nation if he were made Prime Minister for five minutes, Sanjay Dutt responded in his trademark light-hearted style.
He said he was happy that "something is happening in the country" and addressed citizens as their Prime Minister, saying he felt a unique sense of responsibility because the country is vast and has so many people whose responsibility would be on him.
Taking a humorous dig at foreign tours by political leaders, Sanjay Dutt said he would not travel abroad to celebrate his position as Prime Minister. Instead, he said he would remain in India and stay connected with the people.
"Otherwise, how will the connection between the Prime Minister and the people be created?" he said.
The promo of the episode has been circulating on social media, with Sanjay Dutt's remarks drawing attention from viewers.
