Mangalore, Aug 2: “The government’s viewpoint about PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani should change. A quick judicial enquiry must be conducted and bail should be granted to him,” said Musheer Ahmed, secretary, Muslim Souhardha Vedike South India.

Addressing media persons at Hotel Woodlands on Friday August 2, he said, “Even after several pleas were made by Madani to the High Court, he was not granted bail.” He added that the case fought by the public prosecutor Dore Raj on behalf of the government made wrong allegations which stated Madani’s involvement with Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Ahmed also stated that Madani was involved in 52 terrorist cases. “When Madani demanded bail due to his ill health, the court rejected his bail stating that he had submitted fake documents,” he added.

“The court hearing on Madani’s bail will be held on Monday August 5,” said Musheer Ahmed asking the government to provide justice to him.

PCF leader Rahim Arikkadi, PDP vice-president K P Mohammed, SSF secretary Rahiman Mudipu, Hussain Musliyar, and Abdul Razaq were present.
