Good day to my dear Daiji friends!
I worked for Indian Railways as a driver of express trains for about 1 year after I left the Navy, driving from Bombay to Delhi.
Please note that if I am the driver of a train, I cannot suddenly stop a train weighing around 2000 tons even with emergency brakes!! The train will stop after around 1 kilometer since a train moves on steel tracks and on steel wheels and the traction is minimum. The brakes are ineffective at a speed of 100KMPH and the train will slide on the tracks no matter what.
I have a split second decision to make - either the life of a few thousand people or a single person.
I will rather save my passengers than a single person.
I will definitely save my passengers if I am a driver now!

The train accidents mostly happens when people use the train as a mode for suicide.Sometime the accident do happen mainly due to neglegance of people.Hope the railways will find out the cause for this death and do the needful.Thanq.
