The seed sown by The nine Jesuits on The Idgah Hill over one hundred and thirty years ago has borne abundant fruit. History spells out that the Jesuits Fathers of sacred memory had a student strength of about forty when they started the educational work and today St. Aloysius can boast of their achievement. Perhaps the student strength is fourteen thousand - all because of the efforts of The Jesuits who have worked relentlessly to bring out the best out of their students.
The recent growth has been phenomenal. Various disciplines - The Beeri complex which compares with the best in the country are amongst a few achievements of the Jesuits.
I proudly claim that I am an alumnus of this mighty institution. I was given the privilege of raising the centenary toast in the year 1980
The best gift one can give another is the gift of education and this is what we have from The Jesuit Fathers.
We have now Father Swebert D'Silva - The Principal who has been called upon to guide the future destiny of this mighty venture.
I join several others in saluting the teaching staff of S.A.C. Long live St. Aloysius.
