Post KBC, it's 'Bhootnath Returns' and TV show for Big B

Mumbai, Nov 8 (IANS): The current season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC) is nearing its concluding episode and megastar Amitabh Bachchan says "Bhootnath Returns" and Anurag Kashyap directed TV show will keep him busy after that.

KBC is in its seventh season and the 71-year-old hosted all the seasons, except the third one, which saw superstar Shah Rukh Khan playing quizmaster.

"KBC is coming to its season end and there are just three more episodes to go before the end...always a bit nostalgic and sad to stop the work that has occupied your mind and body for so many months. But...film and TV serial work shall take over," Amitabh posted on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com.

"'Bhootnath Returns' has begun its shoot and it shall now have priority of work along with the TV serial shoot," he wrote.

"Most of the other projects - films with R. Balki, Shoojit Sircar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sujoy Ghosh, Anurag Kashyap, Vipul Shah, Abbas-Mustan and others have been through those initial discussions and until they start or have been able to deliver firm schedules, it would not be prudent to say any more," he added.

The seventh season of KBC will conclude in the first week of December.
