Mumbai, Nov 13: Aditya Pancholi today revealed that there was footage showing his son Suraj Pancholi at a hotel with some of his friends, at the time of the death of actress Jiah Khan and that the evidence was enough to prove his son's innocence. His statement comes in reaction to Jiah Khan's mother Rabiya Khan's accusation that her daughter had been murdered by someone close to her.

Suraj Pancholi had qualified as the chief suspect in the case because he had been Jiah's boyfriend and it had been reported that the actress had committed suicide following their break up. Son of Aditya Pancholi and Wahida Rahab, Suraj had been arrested for abetting in the suicide of the Nishabd actress. Aditya Pancholi, has also stated that having his ex-girlfriend committed suicide cased his son's world to feel like it had toppled over. He was happy that his son had emerged  stronger from the bitter experience.

Jiah Khan had reportedly found to have hanged herself from the ceiling from her home in Juhu on June 3, 2013. Suraj Pancholi was arrested on June 10 and released on bail on July 1. Her mother Rabiya Khan, had filed a petition in a Bombay High Court in October, 2013 on the grounds of her belief that her daughter could have been murdered.

The Yes Boss and Race 2 actor Aditya Pancholi was known to have lashed out at a female reporter outside his home by the door of his car and her camera equipment was also damaged in October, 2013.
