Mumbai: Mogaveera Yuvaka Sangha holds their annual meet

Mumbai, Nov 14: Organizations play vital role in building good and healthy society. Mogaveera Yuvaka Sangha is also stepping towards this objective.

The association took birth with a mission to fight against dowry, in favor of widow remarriage and to provide basic facilities to orphaned children.  When we realized that this is not necessary, the association mission was changed for other social needs.

When activities of association gradually decreased, Mogaveera Yuvaka Sangha was made to unite with Mogaveera Vyvasthapaka Mandali said Sadhananda Kotian, president of Mogaveera Yuvaka Sangha.

He was addressing the 78th annual meet of Mogaveera Yuvaka Sangha on October 27.

A veteran member, B M Rao in his address said “This organization was established in the year 1934 in hard times.  Later it took the transformation steps towards active society”. 

T M Karkera said that due to fast life style, youths are not attracted towards social service and remained too far away.

Suresh Kanchan, M M Kanchan, D D Karkera, Jaganath Putran, Raghunath B Kundar, Nagesh Salian, Nanu Chandan, Vedh Prakash Shreyan and Om Das Kannanghar, presented their views.

Mogaveera Vyvasthapaka Mandali president Ajith Suvarna spoke on the occasion.

Honorary president Dilip Mulki welcomed.  Dhanraj Kundar, honorary secretary briefed about accounts. Sanjeev Salian gave a keynote address.
