Mumbai: Annual Sports meet at Kalyana Sangha

Mumbai, Nov 14: Kalyana Sangha organized its annual sports meet in Yashwanth Rao sports ground at Santhoshimatha road in Kalyan West on November 10.        

Several members took part in the first of its kind meet held by the Sangha.

Surendra Shetty, chief advisor of the organization and MD of Jasmine group of companies lauded the members for participating in the meet.  Sanjay Patel of National Congress Party, leaders and social activists kicked off the programme.

Founder President Nanda Shetty was present.

Holy Cross Convent School teacher Pechora, Praveen, Centurian School Sports Teacher Gundre, Sachin Marater, Simon and Boja Shetty were present as the referee at the event.

Sports Committee working President Geetha Poojary, Assosiation President T S Uppadhyaya, Vice president Gopal Hegde, Honorary Secretary Subraya Hegde, Women’s wing working president Darshan Sonekar and other prominent leaders took part in the programme.
