Jessie J auctions shoes for charity

Los Angeles, Nov 15 (IANS): Singer Jessie J will auction a pair of glittering shoes to help raise money to provide for cancer-struck children.

The 25-year-old will give away the flat-laced footwear which she bought from high street retailer Topshop and wore at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, England. She will even sign a picture during a gala ball Saturday to help raise money for Little Princess Trust, reports contactmusic.com.

"The shoes are wild, they are so glitzy. Jessie has obviously worn them because there's a bit of wear and tear on the heel. I imagine she performed in them because they are glitter encrusted," said charity manager Monica Glass.

"She's signed both the insoles and sent us a signed photo in which she is holding the shoes a bit like bunny ears. It's great Jessie is raising our profile so we can help more children," added Glass.

The charity provides real-hair wigs for children across Britain and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
