Mangalore, Nov 22:
It is a known fact that the city of Mangalore has a luxurious taste for the sleek machines on road. In a happy news for the car-crazy citizens, international car brand Audi opened its showroom in the heart of the city on Friday November 22.

Audi India inaugurated its 30th showroom in India and second in Karnataka at Kankanady here. The company plans on escalating their presence in the country from the existent 30 centres to 34 before the end of 2013.

On the occasion, Audi India's head of sales Niraj Srivastava revealed that showrooms will soon be opening in Visakapatnam and Noida within the next month.

The company reportedly sold 130 cars in Mangalore and its surrounding areas last year alone and it looks forward to selling another 130, if not more, in the coming year, said K Subramanian, CEO of Audi Mangalore and Audi Bangalore.

With the opening of the showroom, the entire range of Audi models will be available in the city.

The showroom that they recently opened is expected to answer to the buyer demands in the areas of Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Belgaum, Dharwad, Hassan, Chikmagalur and Kodagu, said Ravindra Pai, general manager (operations) for Audi Mangalore.

    @Ayubb,
    No matter what the condition of the roads are. I cannot afford such an expensive motor engine. Let the people enjoy the car with their money power. Don't expect anything from Oscar

    In India Audi is ranging from 25 Lakhs to 2 Crores depends on the Model and Type of Car. Just imagine, purchasing Crore worth Audi Car and driving on NH66 from Suratkal to Kundapur or Padubidri to Karkal, I am sure the person will prefer to come back by express bus back to his starting point or load Audi Car on top of bullock cart and fix the symbol on back side of the cart as “Audi Cart”.
