Udayaranga, Mumbai elects their new office bearers

Mumbai, Nov 25: Udayaranga, one of the popular organizations in Mumbai recently held their annual general body meeting at the Equity hotel’s terrace garden near Bhayandar Ghatak. Devadas P Salian, president of Udayaranga presided over the programme. 

Devadas Salian called on the members for their whole hearted cooperation to strengthen the ranga.

The following office bearers were unanimously elected for the period 2013-2016.  Thonse Ramadas (Honorary president), Nagesh Kotian (president), Devadas P Salian and Ravindra N Shetty, Deralakatte (vice presidents), Rajesh Kotian Hejmady (honorary secretary), Balachandra V Rai and Ashalatha P Shetty (assistant secretaries), Sudhir R Shetty Mudar (honorary treasurer), Vijitendra Sanil and Rakshit Shetty (assistant treasurers), Chetan Shetty, Leelathar K Sanil Santur and Prajwal D Salian (organizational secretaries), Lion Muralidhar Hegde Venur (Secretary – Souvenir).

Babu S Shetty of Hotel Prasad, Malad; Shivaprasad Shetty of Hotel Sheldon, Godbhandar and Dinesh Adhikari of Om Sai enterprises were elected as advisors and guides for Udayaranga.

The 18th anniversary of Udayaranga will be held on December 14, 2013 on sector 4 ground of Shantinagar on Mira Road east.  Two minutes silence was observed praying for eternal rest for the soul of late Dr K Sanjiv Shetty, well wisher and guide who passed away recently.

Lion Muralidhar Hegde who welcomed the gathering described the way Udayaranga progressed over the years.  Rajesh Kotian Hejmadi thanked.
