Mumbai, Nov 30 (IANS): It's celebration time for Garima Productions courtesy the success of its two popular comedy shows "Chidiya Ghar", which has completed a run of 500 episodes, and "Lapataganj- Ek Baar Phir" that has clocked 100 episodes.

Paresh Ganatra, who plays Ghotak Kesari Narayan in "Chidiya Ghar" is overwhelmed with the comedy entertainer's success.

"The audience has given so much of love and that is why only we have been able to complete 500 episodes. I would like to thank all the audiences. Thank you for loving us and for appreciating us," Paresh said here Friday at the success party of the shows.

"We will try to entertain you all even in the next 500 episodes," he added.

To celebrate the success, the producers of the show organised a success party where the cast and crew of both the shows were honoured with awards.

Directed by Ashwini Dhir, both the shows are aired on SAB TV.

While "Chidiya Ghar" premiered in November 2011, "Lapataganj" premiered in Oct 2009 and went off air in January this year. Later in June, it made a comeback with its new season titled "Lapataganj- Ek Baar Phir".
