St Xavier’s School of Ryan International organized Science Exhibition

Mumbai, Dec 3: Brahanmumbai Education Board R – East ward organized a three-day science exhibition at St Xavier’s School of Ryan International Group of education Institutions, Borivali (East) here on Monday December 2 afternoon.

The nuclear scientist Dr A P Jayaram inaugurated the science exhibition by blasting a replica of a rocket in the sky, through a remote control at the venue thatwas decorated with arches of Aryabhata, Dr Homi Baba, C V Raman and A P J Abdul Kalam.

The students of nearly 80 schools that come under the limits of R – East ward participate in three-day science exhibition. The local MLA Vinod Gosalkar, Brahanmumbai Education Board W ward education superintendent Prakash Bagul, Ryan Group director Snehal Pinto were the chief guests present. MLA Vinod and Snehal offered motion for different stalls at the exhibition by cutting the ribbons.

The talented students were felicitated on the same occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jayaram advised the students to love the nature and understand science.  The scientific knowledge is essential at the modern times.  Science forecasts geological consequences and environmental disaster and urged them to get set ready for different means of sustenance.

MLA Vinod said that children have talent to unearth scientific marvels.  They can even beat the scientist with their humble experiments, said MLA Vinod.  Meanwhile, he congratulated Ryan Group and other schools for supporting the students to unravel their scientific inventions.

Earlier, the students’ band enthralled the viewers by Jai Bhavani – Jai Bhavani dance shows.  St Xavier’s School head teacher Mariette Fernandes welcomed the gathering and emphasized on the education contribution of founder Dr Augustine F Pinto and managing director Grace Pinto in helping the students to excel in studies, games and scientific innovations.  The teacher Rabia Sheikh compered the programme.  S Zare proposed vote of thanks.

    Launching of rocket was an eye catching event.We are grateful to our chairman Dr.A.f. Pinto and Managing director Madam Grace Pinto for their support.Innovation was seen during these exhibition.We appreciate the team work of our art teachers.It was a great successful one and a very smooth ending.Good team work spirit throughout.

    It is important to make our students to think about solutions for problems, which we are facing today.
    If the huge dead weight (commuters and goods) on wheels considered as a pushing force, the opportunity is to save a huge volume of fuel. The surface transport sector is ripe for a rapid revolution. The objective is to save fuel, eliminate pollutions, reduce costs and increase capacities. The need is to provide the transport facilities for the rapidly growing volume of commuters and goods.
