Aamir's 'Dhoom Tap' dance outsourced from Australia

Mumbai, Dec 5: 'Grungy Tap' as the dance form is called, is regarded as a highly difficult dance that requires a whole lot more of energy, compared to the classical tap dance. The recently released promos of the song seem to have gone viral almost instantly. Australian tap dancer Dein Perry is being credited as the master behind the breathtaking moves.

While the dance itself has been receiving praise from all quarters, many opine that Aamir has failed to match up to the fluidity and grace of Hrithik Roshan who had grooved to the Dhoom 2 number. Aamir Khan had been in Australia for 40 days to learn the dance form from the master dancer himself, alongside Dein's other students who range 10-24 years of age. After his training at Dein Perry's academy, Perry had flown in along with his team to shoot the song for the song in India.

Aamir Khan not only went through the intensive dance training as well as working to get his body in shape, but also had his body painted with body art that looks similar to tattoos. An international artist was flown in to do the paint work and it is as prominent as the awe-inspiring stunts carried out by Aamir. His chiselled abs are also grabbing attention as well as reams of print.

Dein Perry is renowned for his choreography of the Sydney Olympic opening act as well as the dances moves emulated, by the penguins, in the movie 'Happy Feet 2'. The song has been released by Yash Raj Films (YRF) as 'Dhoom Tap'. Aamir Khan's look that includes the 'Bowler Hat' is being noticed and since Salman Khan is now seen imitating it as he hosts the Bigg Boss 7 show, it is being interpreted as subtle promotions for his friend Aamir's film. Salman and Aamir who had started out in the industry at almost the same time are known to be fast friends and while Aamir admires Salman's work, Salman it seems would happily do anything for his friend too.
