Mumbai, Dec 10: "The awards given in the name of Maulana Azad will inspire others to do good work for society and thus make this world a better place to live in," said Summan Agrawal in her speech at Solapur.
Summan R Agrawal, secretary, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress and incharge of cultural cell of the state was invited as chief guest to give away the Maulana Azad Puruskar in Sadashiv Nagar, Taluka Malshiraj.
This programme was organized to give state level awards to socially active people. A large gathering was present in this Matha parliamentary constituency where congressmen had organized a program of this level after a long time.
Vikas Patil ,State President of cultural cell, Mohananand Maharaj, MPCC Gen Sec, Ramhari Rupanvar, Lalakhan Pathan and Congress loyalists in a large number were present for the award function.
