Mumbai, Dec 12: Balakrishna Puttur (Pune) has been felicitated with best achievement award by Gujarat’s Welsfun Corporation Limited for inventing an unique software for manufacture of M S pipes.  Balakrishna is the managing director of Cabinet Systems and Controls Private Limited, situated at Khardi of Nagar road in Pune.

Balakrishna has invented software that can manufacture 18 meters long, 1.6 meter in diameter and 45 millimeter thick M S pipes in five minutes.  Welfun corporation has recognized his achievement of manufacturing 250 of such pipes and its chief technical official Prasantha K Mukherjee has felicitated Balakrishna with Rs 5 lacs cash and a letter of appreciation.

The pipes enable to store gas under the sea and transport it to the sea shore.  The software is the first of its kind machine software in Asia and the second in the world.  Russia was the first to develop such software in the world.

The machines are being manufactured in Cabinet Systems at Pune and in their workshops in Kutch.

Balakrishna was a talented student.  After passing out his B E in KREC Surathkal, he has worked in Dandeli of Uttara Kannada, Panwel in Maharastra, Kinya and Pune before starting his own organization named Cabinet Systems that is known as the first of its kind in the country.  It is well known in the world as well.

Balakrishna has given importance to the education sector and has helped students and young girls for their weddings through Mahalinga Bhandary service trust started by his father.
