New season of 'Band Baajaa …' celebrates love: Sabyasachi Mukherjee


New Delhi, Jan 11 (IANS): Upbeat about the new season of TV show “Band Baajaa Bride with Sabyasachi”, ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee says it will celebrate true love of brides and grooms.

As many as 13 brides will celebrate their love stories as Sabyasachi helps them through their fairytale weddings on the show, to be aired on NDTV Good Times.

“I am very excited about the new season of 'Band Baajaa Bride', which is all about celebrating love,” Mukherjee said in a statement.

“Whether it’s teenage crush turning into a lifetime of bliss or a digital date translating into a true love story, I loved the enthusiasm displayed by both the brides and grooms,” he added.

The fourth season of the show is packed with such fairytale love stories - from weddings of childhood sweethearts to college romance and even internet love stories.

The show will take viewers through personal journeys and head-to-toe makeovers of lucky brides into divas. This season, the focus of the show is on unique love stories and romances of gen-next couples.

“We were overwhelmed with the sheer volume of nominations we received, right from fiancées, family members to best friends. We are confident that this season will be loved and enjoyed by audiences all across the world,” said Arati Singh, channel head, NDTV Good Times.
