Mumbai: Sports journalist Bruno John Gomes excels in media

Mumbai, Jan 29: Kannadigas in Mumbai have excelled in their own spheres and earned a name for them.  Among them is Bruno John Gomes who has been working as a sports journalist for Standard Chartered Bank’s Mumbai Marathon Athletics for the last fifteen years.
 
Bruno John Gomes has opened a media center for the marathon and given wide publicity for the newspaper.

 
Bruno is from Bendoor in Mangalore by origin. His father is a resident of Mumbai and has given education to Bruno in Mumbai and is staying in Goregaon west.
 
Bruno is well known among Mumbai’s journalists as a sports journalist.  Leaders of various organizations are holding press meetings under his participation.  Bruno has worked in several English newspapers as sports reporter as part of a team of sports editors.  He has held preparations for Marathon competitions in various cities in the country.
 
He has held a journalist’s media center among Marathi journalist’s vicinity for a marathon held in Mumbai last Sunday and provided news updates. Fifty athletes from abroad had participated in the Marathon besides Tulu Kannadigas and people from Mumbai.  He prepares for sports news conferences without expecting any publicity for his work.
