Mumbai: Governor inaugurates Mahatma Gandhi Exhibition Centre

Mumbai, Feb 1: The Governor of Maharashtra K Sankaranarayanan on Wednesday (29 Jan) unveiled the newly created Mahatma Gandhi Exhibition Centre at Mani Bhavan in South Mumbai on the eve of the 66th Death Anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
 
The 20-seat capacity Exhibition Centre will be used for screening short films and documentaries on Mahatma  Gandhi for the benefit of visitors to Mani Bhavan.

                  

The Centre has been created by the Gandhi Films Foundation. Mahatma Gandhi lived at Mani Bhavan during his visits to Mumbai between 1917 and 1934.

Filmmaker Dr Jabbar Patel, Senior Editor Dr Kumar Ketkar, trustees of Mani Bhavan and Director of Gandhi Films Foundation Nitin Potdar attended the function.
