Mumbai: Karnataka Sangha holds annual Satyanarayana worship

Mumbai, Feb 1: Karnataka Sangha, held an annual Satyanarayana worship and haladi kumkum programme for their Kalyan members on Sunday, January 26 at Brahman Sabha hall at Kalyan west on Murba road.

The worship started with various religious programmes in the evening. Main sponsor members Dattu Shetty couple sat as main celebrants.  Vedamoorthi Laxmi Narayana Samaga led the prayers as per customs and felicitated the Dattu Shetty couple with shawl, fruits and flowers.

Kalyan Bhasker Shetty and family, another sponsor, had held the programme in memory of the late Sharada Shetty.

Local people, well wishers of the sangh, Sanjay Patil and Subbayya Shetty, president of Kannada cultural association, members of the sangh and a number of Kannadigas were present.  They received Prasada and invoked God’s blessings.

President and vice president of the sangh, felicitated the guests by offering fruits and flowers.
