Three star-studded Telugu films launched Thursday


Hyderabad, Feb 6 (IANS): Three big ticket Telugu films featuring three big stars Ram Charan Teja, Daggubati Venkatesh and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, respectively, were launched here Thursday.

Two of these films even canned a few shots.

The Ram Charan Teja-starrer, being directed by Krishna Vamsi and produced by Bandla Ganesh, is yet to be titled.

"The film was officially launched this morning. We have started shooting. Writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao gave the clap for the first shot of the film," Bandla Ganesh told IANS.

Director Maruthi's "Radha", which stars Venkatesh in the lead role, was also launched and the cast and the crew started shooting the film.

The film's official spokesperson tweeted that producer Allu Aravind praised director Maruthi at the launch event of "Radha" saying that he has a "bright future". He also added that the director has “clarity and vision” and that he is “brilliant”.

The third film was Naga Chaitanya and Hansika Motwani-starrer "Durga", to be helmed by Srinivas Reddy.

"(I'm) ready for muhurtham pooja. (I'm) starting a new movie today. Wish me luck guys. 2014 on the roll," posted Hansika on her Twitter page.

Shooting for "Durga" will start Feb 24.
