Mogaveera Vyavastapaka Mandali conferred Keerita award

Mumbai, Feb 13: Abhinandana trust, an organization of Karnataka citizens conferred Mogaveera Vyavastapaka Mandali of Mumbai with Keerita award for the year 2013 for their 112 years of uninterrupted service to Kannada language, education and culture.

The award was conferred during a felicitation programme titled 'Nammoora Habba' held at Chandraguptha Mourya sports ground in Jayanagar, Bangalore on Feb 1 and Feb 2. 

The award was received by Ashok Suvarna, senior official of the Mogaveera mandali and editor of
Mogaveera newspaper.

The award was presented to Ashok Suvarna by chief guests Sadananda Gowda, former chief minister of Karnataka, MP Anantkumar and local MLA Vijaya Kumar.

Bahrain Kannada Sangha and Bantara Sangha Bangalore were also felicitated during the programme.
